Del Mar Heights is ideal for individuals looking for an upmarket community close to just about everything. It is bordered on the north by Solana Beach, on the east by North City and Carmel Valley, on the west by Del Mar, and on the south by Torrey Pines.

Addison is San Diego's only AAA Five Diamond and Mobil Five Star restaurant, nestled at the Fairmont Grand Del Mar. Chef William Bradley, a two-star Michelin chef, mixes fresh, local foods with classic French methods, along with an award-winning wine collection housed in a floor-to-ceiling bespoke glass-walled wine cellar hidden in the main dining room.

The two-level, open-air Del Mar Highlands Town Center, placed at the junction of Del Mar Heights Road and El Camino Real in the center of Carmel Valley, features over 70 specialty shops, as well as Cinépolis Luxury Cinemas and lots of places to eat at the Skydeck, intermixed among outdoor plazas scattered with cozy seating, fountains, and a fire pit.

 

The Del Mar Plaza, which overlooks the Pacific Ocean, provides an upmarket shopping atmosphere for individuals with immaculate taste in clothing and gastronomy. Enjoy excellent cuisine or a stroll through one-of-a-kind galleries. With its fountains, statues, and palazzo-style balconies affording breathtaking views of the Pacific, the plaza has an aristocratic feel.

 

 

The Torrey Pines State Reserve, named after the uncommon and exquisite pine tree that Del Mar is one of just a few sites to host, is a lovely natural preserve of some of Del Mar's most picturesque beaches and hiking paths on Del Mar's hills and seaside canyons. A wonderfully enjoyable outdoor experience!

 

The Del Mar Racetrack is also a local landmark and by far the most famous of Del Mar's attractions. This thoroughbred racecourse is more than just a pretty face; it offers all the facilities you'd anticipate from a place like this, including trackside seats and dining, as well as private suites. High school graduation percentages are 16% higher than in the rest of the country. Ninety-six percent of secondary school pupils complete their education. Furthermore, the percentile for average test results was 83%. This is 69% greater than the national average. It is also higher than the city, which is at 46%, and the state, which is at 38%.

 

There are 50 schools in the region for locals' children to attend, including elementary, middle, and high schools. The majority of student-teacher ratios are approximately 27 to 1. The Del Mar Union School District serves this region. Del Mar Hills Elementary and Del Mar Heights Elementary are the two prominent public schools in the area.
